This report shares recommendations for modernizing India’s legal and regulatory framework for voluntary organizations and showcases how government can better engage with them. Recommendations on how to strengthen voluntary organizations include finding technological solutions to increase efficiency, building capacity, and aligning implementation strategy. The report groups its analysis into five areas: registration, taxation, regulations, grants-in-aid and consultative planning, and enabling ecosystem. Read it here.
