Michelle Hong is the Impact Network Lead at the Centre for Asian Philanthropy and Society (CAPS), where she oversees the Impact Network, an invitation-only member-based platform for senior leaders in corporate philanthropy, CSR, and sustainability to share insights, collaborate strategically, and develop practical strategies and solutions relevant to Asian corporations.
Michelle started her career in global brand advertising at 4A firms in Singapore and Hong Kong, before she embarked on her impact journey in 2015, co-founding a social enterprise Rooftop Republic and serving as the Executive Director of nonprofit organization Farm the City, with the mission to improve urban liveability and strengthen the food security and social resilience of Hong Kong’s communities through nature-based solutions, community gardening and urban farming.
Michelle holds a bachelor’s degree in communications studies from the Nanyang Technological University, and an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, Sokolov Executive MBA Program. She is also a Vital Voices GROW 2020 Fellow.
