Dr. Chi Chi Huang is a Senior Researcher at the Centre of Asian Philanthropy and Society (CAPS), where she leads thematic research projects on emerging and pertinent issue areas in Asia, bringing our insights into conversation with other philanthropic partners and organizations.
She brings with her over a decade of experience in developing and delivering humanities research at universities in Australia, Hong Kong SAR, the Chinese mainland and the UK.
Previously, Dr. Huang established and managed HK Scholars (香港學人), an education charity aimed at increasing the number of underrepresented young people at university. She has multiple peer-reviewed publications, as well as extensive public lecturing and conference experience.
Dr. Huang holds a PhD in history at the University of Hong Kong, an MPhil in world history from the University of Cambridge, and a BA (honors) from the University of Sydney. She is the 2024 Nancy Keesing AM Fellow at the State Library of NSW, Australia.
