Our Research
The Centre for Asian Philanthropy and Society (CAPS) conducts research to help business leaders, philanthropists, and policymakers understand how to facilitate and expand private capital flows into the social sector.
Approach
We combine qualitative and quantitative analysis to provide practice insights and tools that drive more impactful investments in meeting social needs. CAPS reports provide evidence-based analysis on critical yet under-researched topics in Asia. We do:
- Policy research: Analysis that helps policymakers and leaders strengthen the enabling environment for private social investment.
- Applied research: Practical research and insights of key themes and funding vehicles to guide philanthropic decisions.
- Commissioned research: Bespoke studies and strategies developed with philanthropists, family offices, foundations and public institutions. These projects leverage CAPS’s expertise and networks to help clients drive change, nurture important relationships, and maximize the impact of their social investments.
